Henry Eastick and Ben Cornwell, aka “Ocean Oarsmen”, will imminently begin their epic 3,000-mile ocean-rowing adventure and we’d like to take this opportunity to wish them all the luck in the world!
Commodity Centre works closely with Henry and the team at Ragus, storing sugar and managing logistics for their business. We’re thrilled to support his campaign and have followed their journey to the start line with genuine admiration.
Crossing the Atlantic is more than a test of endurance - it’s a test of every bolt, rope, and piece of kit on board. That’s why we’ve contributed towards tools and spares for their Rannoch Adventure boat, Pegasus, helping to ensure the team can keep pushing forward, whatever the ocean sends their way.
The pair will set off from La Gomera in the Canary Islands tomorrow and row to Antigua in the Caribbean as part of the World’s Toughest Row 2025. Along the way, they’re aiming to raise £50,000 for the Alexander Devine Children’s Hospice Service, which provides vital support to children with life-limited and life-threatening conditions and their families.
Fair winds and following seas, Henry & Ben!
