Today, on International Coffee Day, the global coffee industry is celebrating one of the world’s most-loved commodities. So, what better time to unveil the new livery on one of the stars of Commodity Centre’s operation – our coffee trailer!
Every year, our trailer moves thousands of tonnes of green coffee beans from Commodity Centre’s main warehouse to Costa Coffee’s Essex based roastery. And this month, our trailer has had a complete makeover.
To mark the occasion, we’re challenging you to work out, on average, how many kilometres the trailer travels to deliver the coffee beans from our warehouse to the roastery each year!
Think you’ve worked it out? Send your answer in to marketing@commoditycentre.com by Monday 5th October - the person who guesses closest to the actual number will win a £100 gift voucher to spend on coffee.

International Coffee Day - did you know?
1 October is International Coffee Day and is celebrated by 77 Member States of the International Coffee Organization and dozens of coffee associations from around the world.
The day is a celebration of the coffee sector’s diversity, quality and passion. It is an opportunity for coffee lovers to share their love of the beverage and support the millions of farmers whose livelihoods depend on the aromatic crop.
