Over the past few weeks, Commodity Centre UK has been expanding operations and demonstrating what agility truly looks like in practice. When customers face urgent challenges, we move quickly, collaborate closely and deliver solutions that work. Recently, two customers approached us with substantial storage requirements at extremely short notice.
Rapid expansion for new food commodity storage
A customer with significant volumes contacted us with only a few weeks’ notice, requiring more storage than we had available at the time. Our teams secured additional warehouse space in the right location, negotiated agreements with both the client and the warehouse proprietors, fitted the site out to our high standards, recruited extra staff and began receiving their commodity on schedule, just 6 weeks later.
Specialist metals storage under tight deadlines
Our metals division received an atypical request that required sourcing the right facility, establishing commercial agreements and taking delivery of the goods - all within seven days. The project was delivered without disruption, supporting the customer’s operational continuity.
