Commodity Centre Belgium NV, active in the Port of Antwerp, is looking for an Export Logistics specialist to strengthen our dynamic team.

As an Export Logistics specialist, you are responsible for the full management of export files.

You ensure that all transport, documentation and administrative processes run correctly and on time, in close cooperation with customers, suppliers and internal departments.

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Preparing, monitoring and completing export files
  • Customer contact regarding operational file management
  • Delivering orders to the operational department no later than 48 hours before loading
  • Organising pre- and post-transport and, if necessary, the main transport
  • Timely and accurately preparing of commercial documents, shipping documents, loading and unloading orders
  • Checking received freight documents
  • Checking received customs documents
  • Managing stock data and preparing invoicing within deadlines.
  • Performing monthly file reviews (5% sample control) and analysing results.
  • Sampling administration
  • Always working in accordance with company procedure. Always report any deviations using the reporting form.
  • Adhere to established procedure and use documents in accordance with ISO 9001, FSSC 22000, FCA ISO22000.
  • You work accurately and customer-oriented, ensuring each file is handled correctly from order to delivery.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
  • You hold a bachelor’s degree or have equivalent experience
  • You have a genuine interest in the operations of the Port of Antwerp.
  • Experience or understanding of customs regulations and/or logistics processes is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of forwarding and logistics
  • Knowledge of futures market regulations
  • Computer skills: Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Language skills: Dutch and English (French is an asset).
