Matthew Bibb, Chief Operating Officer, commented:

Achieving AEO certification is an important milestone for our business and recognition of the robust processes and controls we have in place across our international operations. It enhances our customs efficiencies and reinforces the trust our customers and partners place in us to manage their supply chains securely and reliably. What is AEO?

Authorised Economic Operator (AEO) status is awarded to businesses involved in the international movement of goods that meet recognised standards of customs control and supply chain security.

To achieve AEO certification, businesses must successfully demonstrate:

• Strong customs compliance with no serious infringements of customs legislation

• Effective commercial and transport record-keeping systems

• Proven financial solvency and stability

• Robust security and safety procedures across supply chain operations

The certification process involves a detailed assessment by HMRC to ensure businesses maintain high operational and compliance standards.
