We are absolutely delighted to announce that Vikki Baker was selected as one of four finalists for Warehouse Manager of the Year in the UKWA Awards for Excellence 2025. These annual awards, comprising 10 categories, celebrate the outstanding achievements, innovations and contributions of individuals and organisations leading the way in the warehousing sector.
Yesterday, Claire Bottle, UKWA Chief Executive, led the proceedings at the Awards for Excellence Annual Lunch at the prestigious Royal Lancaster in London where the winners were announced. The celebrity host, Robert Rinder, brought drama, charm and plenty of laughs to the afternoon.
Vikki’s Journey
Vikki started working at Commodity Centre in January 2021 when she joined as a Stock Coordinator. From the outset, she demonstrated an exceptional work ethic, a sharp eye for detail and a natural ability to lead. Just nine months later, she was entrusted with the role of Acting Warehouse Manager and then officially promoted to Warehouse Manager in March 2022. She now leads our Warehouse and Operations teams, managing 30 people and continually driving improvement across the board.

Matt Bibb, UK Managing Director says:
“Vikki has transformed warehouse operations and fosters a culture of trust, motivation and professional growth. This has all resulted in increased productivity and staff retention, sustainability improvements and outstanding audit results. She champions health and mental well-being and her commitment, even during the most challenging times, inspires those who work with her. Her selection as a finalist for the Warehouse Manager of the Year Award is well-deserved recognition of her hard work and the difference she has and continues to make to our UK operations.”
Well done, Vikki - we’re incredibly proud to have you on the team!
